Visa Requirements

Ireland is a member of the European Union but is not part of the Schengen Area. Visa requirements for Ireland are therefore separate from Schengen visas.

Attendees travelling from countries whose nationals are visa-exempt for Ireland do not require a visa to enter the country. Attendees from visa-required countries must apply for an Irish short-stay visa (Conference or Visit Visa) before travelling.

Invitation Letter for Visa Applications
